A Property Investment Advisor wanted to strengthen its cybersecurity maturity without approaching the market blind. Wild Squirrel Technology acted as an independent adviser. We assessed the Property Investment Advisor’s requirements, translated its business risks into a specification for a managed cybersecurity service, ran a comprehensive Request for Proposal and represented the Property Investment Advisor’s interests throughout. We weren’t selling the service ourselves. We also helped the Property Investment Advisor look at backup and recovery, so nothing outside the provider’s scope was overlooked. A year later the selected provider was still monitoring the Property Investment Advisor’s systems around the clock, and the business had grown from eight people to 21.
